About Melissa farage

I founded Mountains to Sound Marketing in November 2016 after several years of thriving in senior analyst, marketing and management roles. Despite my proficiency in managing SEM, Display and Paid Social campaigns, I quickly developed a reputation for creating in-depth marketing and business reporting to help all levels of the company work cohesively towards the same KPIs. This under-the-hood insight into performance allowed me to transcend the SEM department niche I was stuck in and develop company-wide strategies to test, automate cross-team optimizations and fully realize the deeper connection between marketing and the business’s bottom line.

With sufficient work experience under my belt, I decided to do what Digital Marketers do best: run an A/B test. I founded Mountains to Sound Marketing in November 2016 to challenge myself with an adrenaline-junkie’s alternative to a Senior Analyst’s 9-to-5 desk job: experimenting with new business ownership in the fast-paced consulting world of Seattle startups. My goal was to help businesses succeed with my exceptionally data-driven approach to marketing.

When I’m not online, you can typically find me on my bike, in my kayak, or backpacking in the beautiful Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Why Mountains to sound?

Named after Washington’s 100-mile Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail, which stretches from the Seattle waterfront to the sage deserts of Eastern Washington. Just like this rugged trail, my marketing services are designed to help you get to where you want to go (even if we have to go over a mountain pass to get there).
